Our Brand Story
In the summer of 2023, my dear friend Caitlin was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer at only 23 years old. She bravely faced a rigorous treatment regimen that included chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy. Sadly, on April 13, 2024, Caitlin passed away, surrounded by her family and her new husband Ollie. In honor of Caitlin, I pledged to carry on her legacy by fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Action and the Royal Marsden Hospital charity through my creations. Caitlin, a vibrant and caring individual, supported her friends wholeheartedly and had a strong passion for candles. She had aspirations of launching her own candle business, a dream we often discussed. Following her passing, I decided to name my business Little Bee as a tribute to Caitlin, who had a special fondness for bees. With every purchase made, 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the ovarian cancer charity and the Royal Marsden Hospital charity in memory of Caitlin and in honor of her lasting impact. Little Bee will always keep Caitlin's memory alive, as she will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
